Dalton - Janet Kay Lower, 82, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 28 surrounded by her loved ones.

Janet was born August 27, 1943 to Karl and Esther (Schnell) Bodager. Graduated from Orrville High School Class of 1961 and then devoted many years of faithful service to Mold Masters and Rubbermaid.

Janet cherished every moment spent with her family and friends, finding her greatest joy in the simple gift of togetherness. She had a special place in her heart for her beloved puppies, JJ and Ruckus, who brought her endless companionship and smiles. Janet delighted in life's little pleasures-enjoying ice cream daily, admiring bright sunflowers, beautiful ladybugs, and the mystical charm of the platypus. She loved the music of Elvis Presley, Willie Nelson and Randy Travis, often filling her home with their timeless songs. Thoughtful and playful, Janet was known for gifting little rubbermaid containers of candy and sprinkling confetti inside her cards, leaving behind not just memories, but small bursts of joy that reflected her warm and whimsical spirit.

Janet is survived by: Children, Tamara Harty of Bend,OR; John W. (Bernice) Lower II of Colton, OR; Kelly (Bill) Gorby of Dalton, OH. Grandchildren, Melissa Leone (Johnny Smits) Lower, Johnny Lower, Elizabeth (Dylan) Jimenez, Rachel Janet Lower, Isaac (Callie) Ressler, Abigail Lower, Anna (Mumbie) Cohler, Maggie (Trevor) Shetler. Great-grandchildren, Lily Leone Smits, Autumn Moon Smits, Hunter Polzel, Hazel Jimenez, DJ Jimenez, Ruby Lower, Justin Ressler, Nathan Ressler, Kaylahni Lower and many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Janet's memory to the Wayne County Dog Shelter, 5694 Burbank Rd, Wooster OH 44691.

Janet will be deeply missed, but her spirit and memory will keep going and going and going.
