Faye Ruth Moses

Faye Ruth Goines Moses Freeman, age 80, of Madisonville, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 7, 2025 at U.T. Medical Center. She always said she's tried to do the right things in her lifetime, so when her time comes she knows where she's going and her savior can say well done child, welcome. Preceded in death by father Jessie Goines, mother Blonie May Lynn Goines, 1st husband Jimmy Ray Moses and 2nd husband Rev. Richard Freeman, infant daughter Angela Faye Moses, daughter Melinda Denise Moses Jubar Quillen, sister Frances Goins Reynolds Pitcock, brothers Junior Goines, Troy Lee Goines, Bobby Joe Goines, Roy Lee Goines, Delbert Ray Goines. Family and church was the most important things to her and her God. She was employed by many sewing factories, was manager at Sweetwater Hardee's restaurant for many years, retired from Sweetwater Hospital after 30 or more years in Environmental Services. She always loved all her family and coworkers and lots of special friends.

Survivors-Niece and caregiver: Brenda Goines Shaw, that she took in and raised as her own daughter and son-in-law Sherman Shaw; Grandchildren: Dakota Shaw and wife Tammy Shaw, Jacob Jubar, Blake Jubar, Channelor Phillips Moses; Great granddaughter: Phoenix River Jubar and her mother Savannah Ellis; Several nieces and nephews including Niece Deborah Changani and nephews Ayez and Marshall.

Funeral 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Keith Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Christianburg Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5-6 P.M. Tuesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
