Faye Saylor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schmoyer Funeral Home on Feb. 16, 2026.
Faye M. (Fehr) Saylor,81, was given to the Lord on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Lutheran Home at Topton. Faye was the daughter of the late Stillie L. Fehr and Elizabeth Sebesta. She was the loving wife of the late Edward Saylor.

In her lifetime, she worked with her husband in building the home of their dreams, raised their two daughters, and had the opportunity to spend many loving times with their granddaughters.

Faye worked both part time and full time. Working with her husband and never having babysitters for her children., worked at a variety of jobs. She worked at Allen Organ Company, Macungie, PA. She also worked at the 1760 House, Trexlertown, Pa., Food Land Stores of Allentown, and Day timers, Inc. of East Texas, PA. upon leaving Day timers, Inc. she worked part time at the Trexlertown Medical Center, and because of her illness was forced to retire.

In her younger years, she was a Brownie leader with Girl Scouts of America. She enjoyed this because her daughters were with her at the meetings. Also she was the leader of TOPS and made many dear friends. Her granddaughters also participated in helping "Nana", make projects for the meetings.

They sold their home and moved to a retirement community where Faye got to meet many "Great" people. She got the opportunity to travel in their motor home and her dream of seeing Oregon came true with their travels. Her favorite companion whom she shared with her husband and went on their travels was Maria, their loving Shih Tzu dog. Sad to say, Maria passed and will always be missed.

Surviving are daughters Cynthia L. Thomas of Macungie, PA. and Tracey A. Clark of Flora, IN. Granddaughters Lauren, wife of Dustin Lytle of Wytheville, VA and Ellen, wife of William (Cory) Ellison of Kokomo, IN and great granddaughter Gwendolyn Faye.

In keeping with Faye's wishes no service will be held.
