Faye Warner, 90, of Dyersburg, died Thursday, October 21, 2021 at her residence. Born May 6, 1931, she is the daughter of the late Willis Harold and Lessie Avril Dulin Armstrong. Mrs. Warner was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 40 years, was a WMU Director and traveled with her husband for foreign missions. She was a past president of PTA.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at First Baptist Church officiated by Reverend Mike Hickman and Brother Tommy Warner with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Her grandsons, Brad Lewis, Charles Agee, III, Rick Van Sant, Greg Jones, John Allen and Chad Blalack, will serve as pallbearers.
She is survived by four daughters, Marcia Warner Van Sant (Bill) of Dyersburg, Donna Warner Allen (Kenny) of Sikeston, MO; Cindy Warner Grabowski (Dave) of Jackson; Karen Warner Blalack (Clay) of Gulfport, MS; one son, Andy Warner (Debbie) of Coral Springs, FL; one sister, Nancy Hammons of Medon; thirteen grandchildren, Jamie Rodgers, Brad Lewis, Charles Agee, III, Leslie Agee, John Allen, Chad Blalack, Brooke Doggett, Shannon Kinsella, Laura Howard, Greg Jones, Whitney Grisham, Cory Hall, Rick Van Sant; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Lynn A. Warner, Jr.
The family requests memorials be directed to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
