Faith Funeral Home Inc.Faye Allen Williams, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025 in Tallahassee, Florida at the home of her daughter, April, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Harlem Jenkins and Evelyn Clyde Peavy Allen, January 15, 1931, in the home of her maternal grandparents Magnus and Elizabeth Peavy in Hinson, Florida. After graduating from Havana High School, she attended Florida State University, where she performed in the Flying High Circus as a trapeze artist and tightrope aerialist. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard Allen Williams (Dick) and went on to become an elementary school teacher, teaching the children of many of the local families of Gadsden County for over 40 years.
Faye is survived by her children Allen Williams of Tallahassee, Fl, Jan Waggoner (Skipper) of Jacksonville, Fl, Lisa French (Mark) of Tallahassee, Fl and April Perkins (Brett) of Tallahassee, Fl; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years.
The family will be receiving family and friends at Faith Funeral Home in Havana (6972 Florida/Georgia Highway Havana, Florida 32333) on November 22, 2025 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Big Bend Hospice, Inc in Tallahassee (https://bigbendhospice.org). Scott Whitehead of Faith Funeral Home (850) 539-4300) is assisting the Williams’ family with their arrangements.
