Faye Conner Williams

Faye Williams, age 93, passed away on February 26, 2026, in Lake City, FL. She was born on September 21, 1932, in Wilcox County, where her story of strength, grace and devotion to family first began. Faye was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the First Baptist church of Jacksonville.

Faye lived a life rich in love, creativity and adventure. She had a deep passion for traveling and cherished every opportunity to explore new places and create lasting memories along the way. Whether near or far, she embraced each journey with joy and curiosity, making friendships.

A gifted crafter, Faye found happiness in working with her hands. She was able to combine her love of travel with crafting to create wonderful memories.

Above all, Faye's greatest joy was her family. She treasured every gathering, every conversation, and every moment spent with those she loved. Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering devotion created a foundation of strength and unity that will continue to guide her family in the years ahead.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Theodore (Ted) Williams, brother Jack Conner (Vivian), brother Herman Conner, brother William Conner, Mother Marie Conner, and father Julius Conner.

She is survived by her daughter; Brenda Gates, daughter; Shirley Lick, son; Joey Williams, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Faye Williams will be remembered for her kind heart, creative spirit and deep love for her cherished family. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and togetherness will live on in all who knew her.

Faye will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Services under the direction of Jacksonville memory gardens Funeral Home. Visitation; Thursday March 5, 2026, 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Service immediately following in the chapel at 2:00 PM.
