Felice M. Hernandez, 87, of Uvalde, Texas passed away on February 4, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on September 17, 1938, in Uvalde, Texas to Elvira (Mireles) and Adan Mirelez.
She is survived by three daughters, Dora Vera, Diana Espinoza and husband, Richard, and Delia Chavez all of Uvalde; son, Ricardo Hernandez and wife, Dianna and Cruz M. Hernandez and wife, Viviana, all of Uvalde; four sisters, Sara Moreno of Uvalde, Clara Rodriguez of San Antonio; Peggy Garcia and husband, Willie, and Angie Velasquez all of Uvalde; three brothers, Adan Mirelez, Danny Mirelez, and Freddy Mirelez all of Uvalde; grandchildren, Edward Hernandez, Frank Hernandez, Bryan Hernandez, Felisha Hernandez, Angelica Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez, Monica Ceja, Agatha Espinoza, Jesus Chavez, Jr., Alejandro Chavez, Zariannah Hernandez, Cruz V. Hernandez, Cobretti Hernandez, and Cazador Hernandez; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, grandson, Zayden Vasquez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Edward Hernandez, Bryan Hernandez, Ricardo Hernandez, Cruz V. Hernandez, Alejandro Chavez, Monica Ceja, Agatha Espinoza, and Felisha Hernandez.
