Felice Rose Lemoine, 64 of Marksville, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. She was born in Cottonport to Patrick Edgar and Connie Roy Lemoine. Throughout her life, Felice embraced a simple yet fulfilling existence, finding joy in the company of her dear friends and close-knit extended family. She was a cherished member of her community, leaving behind a void that will be felt by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Felice attended LSUA and Avoyelles Vo-Tech, where she honed her skills and excelled in her career in the Medical Credentialing Office at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital for many years. Her dedication and expertise made her a valued asset in the field. She then worked for the Marksville City Police Department and the Marksville City Judges Office.

She had a contagious laugh that brightened the spirits of those around her. Her witty sense of humor brought joy to countless moments. She was a devoted fan of LSU and the San Francisco 49s Football teams, enthusiastically cheering them on during game days. Music held a special place in her heart, and she loved to sing. To stay active and maintain her health, Felice frequently walked the Marksville High School track.

Felice devoted her life to her family and will be remembered for her unwavering dedication. Her young at heart character brought joy and vitality to every gathering. With an impeccable sense of humor, she had a remarkable ability to make others laugh, even in the toughest times. She held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, and her love for them knew no bounds.

Felice was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Patrick Lemoine, Jr. She is survived by her sisters, Susan Brouillette (David), Constance Rabalais (Thad), and one brother, Jack Lemoine. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews who were always the center of her life, Ginger, Heather, Brian, Luke, Sean, Nicholas, Chelsea, Triston, Hunter, and Alexis, along with numerous great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 18th at 11:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura. Visitation will begin at 8:30 am until 10:30 am at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
