Felicidad "Fely" Pacis

Fely was born in San Julian Bantay, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Her heart took its last beat surrounded by her family in Concord, CA. Fely voyaged to the United States of America in 1971 and landed in the San Francisco Bay Area and then continued her journey to Los Angeles where she commenced a new chapter in her life in the U.S. She is survived by her only child, Sonia Ramos. Fely lived her last year of life with her daughter and son-in-law, Jason, Sr, in Martinez, CA. Her three grandsons, two grand-daughters-in-law, and three great grandchildren all live no more than 4 miles away.

Fely was a devout Catholic who now has entered eternal life in the Kingdom of God reunited with her parents and 6 of her 9 siblings. Fely loved her family, her Filipino heritage, fiction novels, tabloid magazines, game shows, board games, and sports teams. If you ask her family, she also loved the finer things in life like elegant swan figurines, princess house crystal, and jewelry. Fely took pride in being intelligent, independent, and respectful.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance at Saint Catherine of Siena in Martinez, CA on April 8th from 3 pm to 7 pm and the vigil will begin at 6 pm. The funeral mass will be the following day at Saint Catherine of Siena on April 9th at 10 am. Immediately following the mass she will be laid to rest in Lafayette, CA, at Oakmont Memorial Park just miles from her family.
