Romeo Pacis Obituary

Romeo was born on February 26, 1946 in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He worked on various jobs throughout his lifetime including Chief of Police, Burgos La Union in the Philippines, Teacher in Burgos La Union Philippines, Aerial Photographer for Aramco, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Anchorage Daily News and Building Custodian at ABM. Romeo married Evelyn Q. Pacis and later moved to Alaska in 1994. He loved to play Bingo, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
Romeo is survived by his wife, Evelyn (Quezada) Pacis; sons Nestor, Joeval, June Eric, and Geoffrey Q. Pacis; and daughters May Fatima and Ruby (Pacis)De Guzman.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th, 2025, at 10:30 am at the Holy Cross Parish, 2627 Lore Road, Anchorage, AK 99507. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. A reception will be held following the service. Father Pat Travers will officiate the service. Pallbearers will include: Nestor Pacis, Joeval Pacis, Geoffrey Pacis, June Eric Pacis, Dandelo De Guzman, and Kyle Pacis.
Arrangements were made with Janssen Funeral Homes.
