Felipe De Jesús Perdomo, artesano incansable y querido patriarca, falleció el 29 de enero de 2025 en Austin, Texas, dejando un legado que será apreciado por su familia y amigos. Nacido el 25 de agosto de 1940 en los vibrantes paisajes de El Salvador, la trayectoria de Felipe a través de la vida estuvo marcada por un profundo amor por la creación, evidenciado por sus hábiles manos que construían muebles, mesas, escritorios y gabinetes con hábil precisión y dedicación inquebrantable.

La vida de Felipe fue un tapiz tejido con los hilos del amor familiar y el arte de la artesanía. Crió una familia unida que floreció bajo su guía. Le sobreviven sus hijos Felipe Jr., Mauricio, Alexis, Martha y Ventura, quienes llevan adelante los valores que les inculcó. En honor a la notable vida de Felipe, los servicios de velatorio se llevarán a cabo el 7 de febrero de 2025 en la Iglesia Evangélica Fuentes de Agua Viva en Bastrop, Texas, a partir de las 5:00 p. m. El servicio de entierro se llevará a cabo el 8 de febrero de 2025 en el cementerio de Fairview, donde encontrará el descanso eterno en el sereno abrazo de la tierra que tanto apreciaba.

His zest for life and devotion to his craft will forever be remembered, marking him not only as a master of his trade but as a monument of love, resilience, and creativity in the hearts of those left behind. His memory will linger tenderly in the hearts of many, a testament to a life beautifully lived.

In honor of Felipe’s remarkable life, visitation services will be held on February 7, 2025, at the Iglesia Evangelica Fuentes de Agua Viva in Bastrop, Texas, beginning at 5:00 PM. A burial service will follow on February 8, 2025, at Fairview Cemetery, where he will find eternal repose in the serene embrace of the earth he so cherished.
