Felix Blanco Obituary
Felix Blanco, Jr. 73, of Uvalde passed away on February 15, 2025, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
He was born on November 2, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio to Juanita (Fuentez) and Felix Blanco, Sr.
He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Blanco of La Feria, Maria Christina Blanco of San Marcos, Sandy Blanco of Kyle and Yolanda Blanco of Crystal City; son, Moses Morones of Crystal City; three sisters, Maria Alvarez of Uvalde, Josephina Lopez of Temple, Santos Hernandez of Temple; brother, Albert Blanco of San Angelo; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Jesusita Longoria, Maria Concepcion Castillon and Juana Del Toro; brothers, Guadalupe Blanco and Danny Blanco; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Juan Laguna, Felix Jacob Blanco, Anthony “AJ” Alvarez, Jr., Frank Alvarez, Martin “Chachi” Garcia and Jeremiha K. Sanchez.
