Felix "Bobo" Marinelli, Sr. Obituary
Felix “Bobo” Marinelli, Sr., 88, of Johnston, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Irene J. (Catanzaro) Marinelli. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vito and Christina (Comella) Marinelli.
Felix was the owner and operator of FM Paving and Bobo’s Junkyard along with the Johnston Boxing Academy and the Providence Boxing Academy.
He is survived by his children, Cheryl Sheehan, Lorraine Tammelleo, Felix Marinelli Jr., Larry Marinelli, Michael Marinelli and Jimmy Colacone, step-daughters, Donna Turchetta and Robin Mulcaly, daughter-in- laws, Lisa Marinelli, Suzanne Gagnon and Lori Colacone. Fourteen grandchildren and twenty – two great - grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Larry Marinelli and Rosie Qurto.
A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Felix’s memory may be made to the RI Ovarian Cancer Alliance, PO Box 100004 Cranston, RI 02920 www.riovarian.org.
