Felix Diaz

December 22, 1957 – February 12, 2026

Felix Diaz, born on December 22, 1957, in the Bronx, New York, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at home embraced by his wife. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Felix was the beloved husband of Jacqueline Diaz, with whom he shared a beautiful life filled with music, laughter, and cherished home days singing karaoke together. Their love was evident to everyone around them and remains an enduring testament to their bond.

He was a proud and devoted father to his five children: Alexis, Brandon, Aidan, Marcelo, Melania, and daughter-in-law Tara. A cherished grandfather to six grandchildren: Landyn, Leilani, Lundyn, Myah, Koa, and Rae. And a loving stepfather to Michael, Jacqueline, Krystal, Shania, and Thalia; all of whom brought him immense pride and joy. Felix is also survived by his siblings, Carmen Santiago, Raul Santiago, and Sandra Pascuali, along with his many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and will carry his memory in their hearts.

Felix proudly served his country in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant (SGT/E-5). He was honorably discharged on July 1, 1979. His service reflected the discipline, strength, and integrity that defined his character throughout his life.

For over 30 years, Felix dedicated himself to his career at FedEx, where he was not only respected for his hard work and reliability, but also loved for his kindness and camaraderie. He built lasting friendships and left a meaningful mark on everyone he worked with.

Felix had a true passion for baseball. He loved the game deeply, especially cheering on his beloved New York Yankees. He found great joy in teaching Little League, sharing not only his knowledge of the sport but also lessons in teamwork, dedication, and heart. To many young players, he was more than a coach — he was a mentor.

He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: a plate of white rice, beans, and chicken, the rhythm of salsa music, and dancing with joy and Puerto Rican pride. Above all, he treasured time at home with his wife, where laughter, music, and love filled every room.

Felix Diaz will be remembered for his strength, his loyalty, his warmth, and the deep love he gave so freely. His memory will live on in the stories shared, the songs sung, the games played, and in the hearts of all who loved him.

He will be forever missed and forever loved.
