Felix Marcus Hall

HALL, Felix Marcus, age 75, of Springboro, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.

Felix was raised in Viper, Kentucky, and carried great pride in his upbringing there, often sharing stories from his youth with anyone willing to listen. He graduated from Dilce Combs High School in Jeff, Kentucky, class of '69. He retired from GE in 2002 after more than 15 years of service as a millwright. Even after retirement, he continued working, for the last four years he worked at Accelevation, LLC in Miamisburg. He truly enjoyed staying busy, productive, and working for the company.

Faith was fundamental to Felix's life. He was a founding member of Ronald Drive Pentecostal Holiness Church in Middletown, where he faithfully served as treasurer and chairman of the board of trustees. He especially enjoyed singing in church alongside his wife, a time that brought him great joy.

He had a deep love for cooking and sharing food with his family. He was well known for making homemade fudge, candy, peanut butter rolls, and chicken and dumplings. He delighted in teaching his grandchildren how to cook his biscuits and gravy. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and even grew his own sorghum cane to make molasses. The homemade molasses was then used to create his gingerbread. He was very particular about which flour he used, too. He only used Hudson Cream and even visited the mill where it was made in Kansas. He was well known for his holiday celebrations while working at GE, where his sole job the entire day was cooking for the staff.

Felix was very family-oriented and enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids, and grandchildren. Hardworking and always full of helpful advice, Felix was talkative and had no shortage of stories. He was always a jokester; he would often make a goofy face, showing his teeth. Oftentimes, you could find his favorite candy, a Werther's Original, in his pocket. A true jack-of-all-trades, he built both homes he lived in. He was very talented and artistic, and he took joy in creating textured/swirled ceilings – a project he often undertook on the side for family and acquaintances. He enjoyed spending time with his Kubota equipment, especially his mower and tractors. During the winters, Felix and his wife would travel to central Florida, where they had a house near St. Augustine and Daytona. While there for the winter, he looked forward to attending churches and the flea markets where he could find a treasure from someone's junk. He could easily make money from other people's junk and regularly even bought and sold antiques. Felix was so good at this hobby that he even had a storefront in Kentucky to help him be successful. Among many things, he will be remembered for his strong and dedicated faith, his love of cooking and gardening, and his jack-of-all-trades skills.

Felix was preceded in death by his daughter, Rebekah Joanne; his parents, Dan and Nellie Hall; his two brothers, Herman Hall and Henry Hall; his five sisters, Rebecca Ann Hall, Vivian Pratt, Ernestine Fields, Sarah Williams, and Anita Hall; and his special friend, Bob Pearson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Pamela "Pam"; his two sons, Jonathan Marcus Hall (William Hendel) and Joseph (Heather) Hall; his six grandchildren, Marcus (Chloe) Hall, Matthew Hall, Madeline (Michael) Dorsey, Maggie Hall, Kevin Hall, and Malcolm Hall; his brother, Dorsey (Wilma) Hall; his two sisters, Nina (Butch) Caudill and Edith Adams; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and special friends, JR Kilburn and Elmer Kegley.

Funeral service will be 11 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Ronald Drive Pentecostal Holiness Church in Middletown. Pastors Jeff Isaacs and Brian Smith will be officiating. Burial will be at Springboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 pm to 9 pm on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home is serving the family.
