Felix Mata Eusebio, 21, passed away unexpectedly on June 14,2025.
Felix was born on October 12, 2003 in Poblado 15, Uxpanapa, Veracruz, Mexico, to Anastasio Mata Martinez and Julia Eusebio Vasquez. As a child, Felix was very kind and caring. He helped care for his family’s cows and horses. If there was ever anything wrong with their animals, he would often stay out with the animals until they were better. He also had dogs, which he also loved and cared for very much. At 17, Felix decided to come to the United States, where he worked very hard to earn enough money to eventually buy his own farm and cows. He lived here in Wisconsin with other family including his uncle Pascual and cousins Adan (Melissa) and Santos (Rocio), along with his brother Celso (Katelyn) and Vicente. He had many friends and a lot of family all over the United States and in Mexico. He loved going to rodeos, horse races, fishing, spending time out in nature, drinking, dancing, and just having fun. Felix was working to buy his own bulls to be able to organize his own rodeos when he returned home Mexico next year.
Those left to cherish Felix’s memory include his parents, Anastasio and Julia; four sisters, Susana (Isaac), Cristina, Maria (Carlos), and Sarai; four brothers, Amadeo (Miriam), Celso (Katelyn), Adrian (Rocio), and Vincente; grandparents, Ana, Valeriano, and Geronimo; many other relatives and friends.
Those who preceded Felix in passing are his grandmother Petra, and his brother Arnulfo who passed away as a baby.
Felix’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service (15 S. Walnut Street, Mayville, WI).
