Felix Octave Noel, age 78, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Acadia St. Landry Rehab in Church Point, Louisiana. Felix was born on December 14, 1946, in Prairie Ronde, Louisiana.
Funeral services for Mr. Felix Noel will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, Louisiana. Reverend Sid Carroll will conduct the funeral service. The burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025, in the Skip Montet Memorial Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
Felix is survived by his sons, David Paul Noel (Ramona) and Tony Gene Guidroz (Debra); his daughters, Doris Ann Deville (Dwayne), Mary Lynn Noel, Carola Gregg-Gitto (Peter) and Amy Charice Stelly (Jayson Langman); and his brother, Ellis Noel (Laura). He is also survived by his grandchildren, Katlyn Deville, Emily Deville, Zach Gregg (Courtney), Drake Noel (Melissa), DJ Deville, Jessica Deville, Breanne Cutrer, and Jermie Noel (Jacqueline); and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Felix proudly served in the United States Air Force as an air policeman for six years. He worked for 30 years in the oil field as a motorman. He loved watching TV, especially old game shows. He also loved volunteering at the Family Church and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilsey Noel and Lena Mae Sonnier Noel; his wife, Mildred “Millie” Allemond Noel; his stepson, Joseph Ted Wayne; his brother, Ashton Noel; his sister, Helen Boss; and his grandchildren, Christian Gregg and Trent Lafleur.
