Felix Torres Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente Torres and Maria Elena M. Torres, Brother Ezequiel Torres.
He is survived by wife, Patricia Vera-Torres; Daughters, Monica Torres, Nicole Knight and husband Michael Knight, and Katherine Torres; Step-sons, Robert V. Castoreno III, Ruben V. Castoreno; Brothers, Eloy Torres, Israel Torres, and Ismael Torres and Wife Irma; Sisters, Maria Esmeralda De La Cruz and Husband Victor, Maria Magdalena Devore and Wife Amy, and Patricia Rodriguez; Grandchildren, Hunter Knight, Lucas Knight, and Noah Knight; numerous extended family and friends.
Felix served as a Staff Sergeant Jump Master in the United States Army Airborne division. Serving in Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm, Staff Sergeant Torres was also a Lead Trumpeter for the 21-gun salute in Hawaii Military Memorials.
Felix earned a Bachelor's of Art degree at UTSA. Felix taught High School World History at O'Connor & Harlandale High schools, in San Antonio, Texas.
Felix also encountered another battle which he vigorously fought for over six years, this time, with Cancer.
Interment is at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
