Funeral service for Felton Cooper, 85, will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Joe David Bailey and Brother Jack Bailey officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Cooper passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at NHC Healthcare. He was born July 9, 1940, in Lawrence County, to Frank Holly Cooper and Alta Holmes Cooper.

Mr. Cooper was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a United States Army Veteran serving 27 years. He served two tours in Germany and one tour in Vietnam. He followed his Army career with 14 years of service to the National Guard as a recruiter. He also worked for and retired from 3M and then went into the Construction business.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four brothers- Melvin, James, Elton D. and Charles "Buddy" Cooper and two sisters- Iola Cooper and Tiny Fay Cooper.

Survivors include
Wife - Nayola Jean Williams Cooper,

Daughter - Sheila Blaxton (Kendall),

Sisters- Bonnie Sanford,
JoAnn Hastings, and
Linda Gerth,

one Grandchild - Ashley Nicole Blaxton Feres (Jayson),

and one Great Grandchild - Justin Casey Feres.
