Fenton Lee Tobler

Fenton Lee Tobler, 90, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on March 28, 2022. He was born on July 28, 1931, in his Santa Clara, Utah home, to Ernest and Cecilia Ence Tobler. He married Carol Kemp for time and all eternity on December 27, 1950, and together they had five children. Fenton was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Among other church callings, he served as an early morning seminary teacher, a bishop, a stake patriarch, and a temple sealer. He loved his Savior and was ever looking to share the significance of the gospel and the temple. Fenton also taught in the public schools in his early married years, and soon thereafter, secured the appointment of elementary school principal where he gave exemplary leadership for decades.

His wife Carol preceded him in death April 2, 2013. He is survived by his children, Nanette Potter, Kathlene (Dalby) Shirley, Howard (Dianne) Tobler, Susan (Jeff) Bowers, and Jeff (Neshia) Tobler; 19 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was also preceded in death by his mother and father; his 8 older brothers and sisters; son-in-law, Dan Potter; grandson, Micah Potter, granddaughter, Krystal Shirley and great-grandson, Jared Winder. A viewing will be held at La Paloma Funeral Services in Las Vegas from 6 to 7pm on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Graveside/interment services will be held at Santa Clara City Cemetery on Friday, April 8, 2022 in Santa Clara, Utah.
