Fern Ohler

Eleanor Fern Ohler, age 88, of Alpena, Arkansas, passed away at home on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

The daughter of Marion and Mary Jane (Gifford) Graves was born in Alpena on April 13, 1937.

Fern was a lifelong resident of Alpena and a 1956 graduate of Alpena High School. She worked all her adult life at Tyson Foods in Green Forest.

Fern loved her family and spending time with them, especially her many grandkids, great grandkids and great-great grandkids. She loved to watch Monday night wrestling and sit on her porch swing and watch the kids in the neighborhood. She loved her puppies, that she affectionately called her babies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Ohler and two sons, Troy Dale "Pete" Ohler and Billy Dale Ohler; her parents; her 11 brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Justin Youngblood.

Fern is survived by her sons, Bobby Ohler and Stanley (Stephanie) Ohler, daughters, Teresa (Terry) Tanner, Marilyn Youngblood, and Glenda Martinez; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept 3, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Coffman Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 1 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison with Pastor Mike Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Alpena Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Timmy Ohler, Kolton Ohler, Billy Ohler, Cade Jester, KC Parker, and Damien Parker.

Honorary pallbearers are Blake Jester and Keydon Ohler.
