Fidencio Leiva

Leiva, Fidencio, lovingly known to family and friends as "Lencho" passed away suddenly on August 25, 2024. A longtime resident of Chelsea, Ma. Lencho is survived by his partner of 55 years, Aida Sanchez, his son Renan Leiva, his stepchildren, whom he raised as his own since they were toddlers, Julio Echeverry and Julieta Echeverry, his brother Carlos Leiva. A great family man, Lencho always took care of his loved ones. He enjoyed talking and spending time with his grandchildren; when a family member or friend needed a place to stay, Lencho welcomed them into his home with open arms and provided shelter. Lencho loved nature. He enjoyed watching animal documentaries and on nice days he could be found sitting outside, watching the birds. Lencho enjoyed dressing up in fancy suits on holidays and special occasions. Often times he would dress up and sit in the living, on his favorite chair, listening to music. Lencho was a humble, quiet man, with a great sense of humor. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Church service will be held on September 4, 2024, at Christian Cavalry Church, 47 Grove St. Lynnfield, MA. At 9:30am; Following burial at 1pm in Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm St. Everett, Ma.
