Mr. Fitzroy Sylvester Jude, 92 of
Morrow, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM, at The Bread of Life Free Church, Inc., 743 Old Tennessee Highway, White,Georgia,30184. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this time of bereavement. This service will be LIVE-STREAMED.
Fitzroy Sylvester Jude was born March 16, 1931, in Holberton Hospital and grew up in Swetes Village, Antigua to Jane Ann Sealey and Percival S. Jude. He attended Swetes Public school before working in factories.
Fitzroy met the love of his life, Olivet Daniel Jude in All Saints Village and started their new lives together by getting married on July 30, 1959. Fitzroy and Olivet could not wait to start a family of their own, and their children meant the world to them. Fitzroy advanced and for many years worked at Antigua Masonry Products as a concrete truck driver operator.
In 1982 Fitzroy Sylvester Jude relocated from Antigua and made a home for his family in the United States Virgin Island of St. Thomas with his wife Olivet Jude and their children. In St. Thomas Virgin Island, Fitzroy became passionate about his new job as a Ramp Agent at American Airlines. He was a loyal worker at American Airline and was loved by everyone he met as they traveled and enjoyed the brilliant sunshine on the Island of St. Thomas. After working for 17 years with American Airlines, Fitzroy Sylvester Jude retired and settled with his wife Olivet Jude in their new home in
Morrow, Georgia.
Fitzroy or Pops as he was lovingly referred to; favorite role was that as a grandparent. He treasured his time with his grandkids and loved being their grandpa. Fitzroy was an active member of Berean Baptist Church, and always enjoyed his time during Sunday School and Sunday Morning Worship with Pastor Alan Sinclair and his loving Church family. Fitzroy will always be remembered for the way he always did his best to give of himself to everyone and, his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
Fitzroy was preceded in death by his Mother Jane Ann Sealey and his Father Percival S. Jude, and sister Pamela Otto.
Fitzroy Sylvester Jude is survived by his sisters, Janice Jude, Shirley Robinson, Bernadette Jude, and Ritta Birthwright; his brothers, Reynold Jude and Bernard Jude; Fitzroy Sylvester Jude leaves to cherish his memory wife, Olivet Jude; nine children, Sylvia Jude, Philip Jude and his wife Shelley, Carlton Fitzroy Jude, and his wife Lystra, Jerry Layton Jude and his wife Andrea, Jessie Julian Jude, Indrid Jude, Jean Collins and her husband Icen, Cheryl Jude, Lawrence F. Jude, and his wife Cornelia.
Thirty-one Grandchildren; Warran, Philesha, Shaniece, Jihan, Kareem, Aaron, Jamaar, Creshawn, Londyn, Cydney, Latoya, Tandika, Skyla, Jelisha, Shaon, Shakir, Daniella, Jessica, Cassandra, Alyssa, Lissette, Malissa, Samantha, Maria, April, Lawrence Jr, Denise, Denell, Nakyla, Alexiah, and Julienne.
Twenty-two Great-grandchildren; Ian, Kairi, Kamia, Zoe, Madison, Janier, Bryan, Israel, Zhavia, Zhakai, Julian, Levi, Xylan, Tova, Grayson, Ava, Luna, Cameron, Emersyn Rose, Kairo, and McKenzie.
