Fleta Gacki Obituary
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Fleta Isabell Stone Gacki, 96, of Jacksonville Fla., formerly of East Lansing, Mich., passed away on May 15, 2024. Fleta was born Nov. 25, 1927, to Harold and Gladys Isbell Stone in Bay.
Fleta was interred, along with her husband Peter, in the Jacksonville National Cemetery on June 7, 2024.

I remember Mrs. Gacki very well from childhood. Her step-daughter Patty L. was my best friend in 2nd grade, and we used to go over to their house after school. Mrs. Gacki was warm and friendly and treated me with gentleness and repect. I remember visiting her on Cowley St. in E. Lansing long after I had graduated from high school, and she welcomed me just the same.
She was one of the non-parent grownups in my life that really made a difference. She understood me at times that no one else did. Thank you Mrs. Gacki!!
