Fletcher Denton, born on April 27, 1941, peacefully passed away and entered his eternal home in Heaven on September 22, 2025. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Wallace and Roberta Denton, his wife Debbie Denton, and his sister Sue Moore. Surviving are his daughters, Lisa Denton of Powder Springs, GA; and Cyndi (Charlie) Liles of Marietta, GA; grandsons Chris Stewart and Garrett Liles; one great grandson, Isaac Stewart; many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sister-in-law.

Fletcher was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Wallace and Roberta Denton. He spent his high school years working part time in his grandfather's, Fletcher Bacon, drug store at the soda fountain as a soda jerk. He graduated from Tyner Academy in 1959, and following in his grandfather's footsteps he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to attend college at the Southern School of Pharmacy, which later became Mercer University. While attending college he met Becky Freeman and they married in 1960. Upon completing his Pharmacology degree, he and Becky began their family, having 2 daughters, Lisa and Cyndi. During this time he became a mandated police officer and went to work for the State of Georgia in the Drug and Narcotics Division. Fletcher and Becky's marriage ended in 1974, he left law enforcement and returned to his career as a pharmacist. A few years later he met Debbie Garner. They married and enjoyed a very happy 43 years together.

Fletcher loved his family, he taught Sunday School, served his church faithfully, and enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a pharmacist. Above all of this he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A father's greatest calling is to consistently show up, lead with love, and faithfully guide his children by pointing them to their Heavenly Father. This calling involves being a provider, protector, and guide. Fletcher ensured his daughters were taught the Truth, and the Way to eternal life thru Jesus Christ.
