Flora Helen Linscott

MILLINOCKET - Flora Helen Linscott, 86 passed away peacefully on 8/30/25 at West Gate Manor in Bangor.

She was born October 6, 1938, in Lincoln, Maine the daughter of Earl and Ethel Burrill. She attended school in Lee where she meets her 1st husband. They married and settled in Kingman and started their family having the first 3 of 7 children there.

Arthur would soon get a job at Great Northern in Millinocket, and they would relocate. They would continue to add to the family and purchase a home on Medway Road. Flora held several jobs in the area including cooking at C&J Restaurant, Baby sitting, and housekeeping at MRH. Flora enjoyed gardening, canning, road trips, crosswords, walking, knitting mittens & socks.

She was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Ethel Burrill, husband Arthur M Linscott, Granddaughter Amy York, Grandson Deric Ireland, Great Grandson William York Jr. Siblings Oliver (Douglas), Basil, Zara, Earl Jr, Robert, James (Sonny), Gladys, Benoni, Benjamin, Madeline.

She is survived by her husband Harold Mushero, her children, Theo & Kenny Beylerian of Glenburn, Bud (Arthur JR) & Gale Linscott of Millinocket, Susan & Randy Peters of Lincoln, Tammy Shorey of Greenbush, Russell Linscott of Bangor, Julie & Dave Michaud of Bucksport, Kelly & Jessie McLain of Millinocket. Siblings Charlie, George, Pete, David, John, Marcia, Josephine, Virginia, and Ruby.

A graveside service will be held in Millinocket on October 6, 2025 at noon. A Celebration of Life Birthday Party will be held at the Church of the Nazarene Fellowship Hall on Forest Ave immediately after the service.
