Florence Marian Baker

Florence Marian Baker, age 91, of Florence, KY, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. Born in Covington, KY, on October 31, 1934, Florence was the cherished daughter of Florenze and Elizabeth Ober Brune. A devoted homemaker, she embodied love and faith as a member of St. Timothy Church in Union, KY. As one of the founding members of the St. Paul Church boosters, her passion for community was evident, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially sitting on her front porch, surrounded by nature. She also enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events. Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ralph Baker, who passed away in 1974, along with her sisters Mary Steffen, Virginia Schartz, and Margaret Kemen. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Steve Baker (Carol), Greg Baker (Vickie), and Chris Baker; her grandchildren Adam Baker (Jennifer), Nicole Lenhof (Brandon), Lauren Ryan (Patrick), Andrew Baker (Kelsey), and Alex Baker (Mallory Stein); and her 11 great-grandchildren, who carry on her legacy. A visitation will be held from 9:00 – 10:00 AM, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at St. Timothy Church, located at 10272 US 42, Union, KY 41091. The burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, KY.
