Florence Fihe Obituary
94, of Louisville died Friday, March 24, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was the former Florence L. Kraus, worked as the cafeteria manager for 13 years at St. Xavier High School, was a member of the Golden Key Club of St. Barnabas, St. Joseph's Society and St. John Paul II.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John Francis Fihe, Sr.; her son, John Francis Fihe, Jr. and other loving family members.
She is survived by her daughters, Liz Gohmann (Bob), Mary Crum (Dave), Therese Carrico (Mike) and Paula Schlich (Mike); daughter-in-law, Lynnie Fihe; grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Michael, Kelly, Mark, Ryan, Adam, Katherine, Claire, Ellen, Erin, Jack and John; and great grandchildren, Elliott, Lucas, Gwen, Gavin, Colin, Charlie, Maggie and Lettie.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at St. John Paul II Catholic Church 3521 Goldsmith Lane with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. at her church on Friday, April 14, 2023.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus or Kosair Charities.
