Florence A. Lamphear, 71, fondly known as Flo, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at a local hospital in Sioux City, Iowa.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 14, 2025, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with Pastor Alfonso Solis from Landmark Baptist Church officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery.
Flo was born on October 18, 1954, in Sioux City, the daughter of Eugene and Betty (Luke) Wettermark.
Flo graduated from Central High School in 1972. She married Charle Lamphear Jr. on October 20, 1979, in Sioux City. Throughout her life, she was a passionate collector of rock and roll and Christian music. In addition to her musical interests, she had a keen eye for photography, capturing moments and memories that will be cherished by her family and friends.
As a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, a former member of the Harley's Owners Group, and an active participant in the Sioux City Committee for the Handicapped. Her involvement in Landmark Baptist Church highlighted her strong faith and community spirit.
Flo is survived by her sister, Conny Sheil of Indianola, Iowa, sister-in-law, Merry Stewart of Sioux City, Iowa, along with several nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly and cherish the memories they shared.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Chuck Stewart, a brother-in-law Michael Sheil, and grandparents Charles and Anna Luke and Carl and Florence Wettermark.
