Florence A. Rauch, 89, of Orwigsburg, passed away Monday, Dec. 20, at Orwigsburg Center.
Born Oct. 25, 1932, in Cressona, she was a daughter of the late Lillian (Merkle) and Sealon Dress.
She was the widow of Earl D. Rauch Sr.
She was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church, Cressona.
She was a graduate of Cressona High School and was formerly employed by Thermo Dynamics as a bookkeeper.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Perrell.
Florence is survived by her stepsons, R. Thomas Rauch, husband of Patricia, Horsham, and Clifford Rauch, husband of Sarah, Winter Haven, Fla.; seven grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, Cressona, with Pastor Joshua Ott officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. At the family's request, memorial donations may be forwarded to Grace Evangelical Free Church, 101 Graeff St., Cressona, PA 17929. To extend condolences to the family, visit www.gsesfuneralhomes.com.
