Flossie B. Palmer

Mrs, Flossie B. Palmer, age seventy-one, departed this life and entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at UNC-Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born in Granville County December 19, 1953 to the late Joseph Bass and Victoria Williams and was a member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Palmer, Sr.; two grandsons: Dominique Banks and Jordan Humphrey; maternal grandparents: Ernest and Novella Lyon; and paternal grandparents: Len and Jennie Mae Bass.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, her daughter, Tarsha Palmer and special niece, Sashley Williams, both of the home; two sons: Arthur Palmer, Jr. (Regina) of Oxford, North Carolina and Chris Palmer of Roxboro; two grandchildren: Chris Palmer, Jr. (Tabitha) of Roxboro, North Carolina and Destiny Palmer of Danville, Virginia; five great-grandchildren; three brothers: Alvis Lyon (Cora) of Durham, North Carolina, Wayne Lyon (Clara), also of Roxboro and Robert Williams of Clarksville, Tennessee; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, 6585 Old Roxboro Road, Oxford 27565, with Elder James A. Williams, Pastor, officiating and Elder Joseph Allen, providing the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be Saturday at Cunningham & Associates Funeral Services from 1:00pm to 5:00pm with the family present during the last hour from 4:00pm to 5:00pm.
