In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers: James Watkins, Cercel Watkins, Jr., Robert Watkins and Wayne Watkins; and sisters: Mary Watkins, Mable Watkins, Nancy Torain and Martha Watkins.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Lucille Watkins of the home; a brother, Thaddeus Watkins of Danville, Virginia; two nephews: Devon Torain of Hillsborough, North Carolina and Alvin Watkins of Roxboro, North Carolina; three nieces: Melinda Watkins of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; and Kathy Watkins and Angela Watkins; a devoted cousin, Minister Estella Okafor of Roxboro; a sister-in-law, Gloria Harris of South Boston, Virginia; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the home, 818 S. Main Road in Roxboro 27573.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.
