Mrs. Flossie Marie Towe, age 83, of Franklin, KY, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 12:14 AM at the Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care Center in Scottsville, KY.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd at 11:00 AM with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Wesley Stone officiating and interment to follow in Shiloh Church Cemetery in Allen County, KY.

Flossie was born on October 3, 1941 in Allen County, KY to the late Herman Carlos Richmond and the late Ethel Marie (Hawks) Richmond. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Towe and two brothers, Herman Richmond, Jr. and Robert Richmond.

She is survived by three children, Cynthia Andrews (Mark) of Franklin, KY, Harold L. Towe (Sue) of Auburn, KY and Chris Towe (Christi) of Portland, TN; six grandchildren, Krista Avila (Gerardo), Josh Andrews, Amberly Gregory (Richard), Justin Towe, Allie Towe, Maddie Towe; six great-grandchildren, Kalee Andrews, Marleigh Avila, Jaxson Avila, Charley Andrews, Addison Gregory, Rennick Gregory; a brother, Ernest Richmond (Phyllis) of Portland, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Flossie attended Shiloh Church in Allen County, KY and also Macedonia Baptist Church in Simpson County, KY. She and her husband, Harold would enjoy gardening and canning and entering their harvest into the county fair and winning awards.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Alzheimer's Association (Dementia), 225 North Michigan Ave., FL 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or at alz.org. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
