NORTHAMPTON- Floyd Conner, 96, passed away September 6, 2023. He was born in Cambridge, OH to the late Carl and Gladys Conner and resided in Northampton for the past 70 years. Floyd was a WWII veteran serving his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a supervisor for Midwest Rubber Co, Parker Tire and retired from the Woodridge School System. He was an avid gardener, photographer, storyteller and was an active member of the Northampton Bible Church for the past 61 years.
Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Donna; he is survived by his children, Diana (John) Biggins, David (Gloria), Carl (Shelly) and Donald and 6 grandchildren.
Calling hours are being held from 2-4 PM on Sunday Sept. 10, 2023 at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at Northampton Bible Church, 333 W. Steels Corner Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 11 AM on Monday. Sept 11, with calling hours one hour before. In lieu of other remembrances memorials may be made to the church.
