Floyd Edward Cross

Floyd (Buzzie) Edward Cross, 85, of Warr Acres passed away on May 10, 2023. Floyd was born in Westville, Oklahoma to James and Reba Cross on December 4, 1937. He passed away in his home, with his family by his side, leaving this world behind to join his parents and his brothers, Ronnie Cross and Larry Cross, his youngest son Darrell Cross, grandson Joseph Cross, along with his grandchildren Joseph Cross and Lily Molett in Heaven.
He is survived by his brothers Loren (tug) Cross, David Cross, and Bill Cross. His children Jerry Cross, LeAnn Cross, and his great-grandchildren Jared Cross, and Trista Priest. Grandchildren, Trisha Cross, Justin Cross, Joshua Cross, Heather Cross/Larsen. Grandchildren, Elijah Cross and Kyler Larsen.
Floyd was a simple yet remarkable man, always supporting his ever growing family over the years. He quit high school early, choosing instead to work and support his family, and he would continue this way of life, working at Nork Brothers printing press company to support his children, then working as an armored truck driver for Loomis to take care of his grandchildren.
Even in his retirement years he was still a man of dedication and will-power, constantly trying to improve himself to set an example for his great grandchildren, never letting his aging body prevent him from doing the best he could to raise the next generation.
