Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle passed away November 19, 2021, at age 91. Floyd was born October 28, 1930, to the late Casimer and Clara (Tomczak) Grochowski, in Bay City, Michigan. Floyd enjoyed traveling, fishing, sweets, football and sports, however, his greatest joy was his dogs and being around family.
Floyd is survived by: Children: Ray (Shelia) Grochowski, Virgil Grochowski, Ricky Grochowski, Floyd E. Grochowski, Linda (Ken) Amthor, Dawn Alfieri (Tom Chesterfield), Edward Grochowski, Doreen (Tom) Koenigs; Many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Sister, Eugenia (Grochowski) Westenburg; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents, Casimerand Clara (Tomczak) Grochowski; and brother, Marion Grochowski.
A funeral service for Floyd will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Ambrose Funeral Chapel, 1200 Garfield Avenue, Bay City, Michigan 48708. Friends and family may gather for visitation on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM until 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick's Cemetery, 805 Ridge Road, Bay City, Michigan 48708.
