Floyd Edgar Hutson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 26, 2026, in Azle, Texas. He was born on January 27, 1941, in Cleburne, Texas.

Floyd served his country honorably in the Navy, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his nation. His life was characterized by a positive attitude and an unwavering work ethic. Alongside his wife of 66 years, Joyce Hutson, Floyd owned and operated a medical supply company, a venture that not only showcased his entrepreneurial spirit but also his desire to contribute meaningfully to the lives of others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ruth Hutson; his sister, Betty Sue Hutson; his daughter, Gwendolyn K. Hutson; grandson, Tracy Don Hutson, Jr.

Floyd is survived by his devoted wife, Joyce Hutson; his children, Montgomery Hutson and his wife Kimberly, and Tracy Hutson and his wife Michelle; his son-in-law, Randall Cook; grandchildren, Randall Cook, Jr., Robert Cook, Herman Hutson, Hope Hutson, Troy Hutson; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Charlotte Howton and husband Olin, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Floyd Edgar Hutson will be deeply missed, but his impact on all who loved him will never fade.
