Floyd Lowe Obituary

Floyd was born on September 3, 1930, in Wellington Alabama. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Lowe and mother, Eliza Franklin Lowe. He is survived by his children, Sherry Lowe (Edwards), Lisa Lowe (Hicks) Stanley, and Kelly Lowe (Morgan) Donovan. His Grandchildren are Brian Orman, Robbie Edwards, Joshua Edwards, Lauren Hicks, Jacob Hicks, Addison Morgan and Kendall Morgan. His Great Grandchildren are Austin Orman, Logan Orman, Parker Edwards and Luke Edwards.
Floyd served in the Army for 2 years and was wounded in the Korean War. He was awarded a Purple Heart medal for his service. Floyd served the remainder of his 22 years in the military in the Air Force. He retired from military duty in 1973. Afterwards, he worked for Metro in Nashville, TN. He lived a full life of 93 years traveling, spending time with family and friends, and going to many UT football games. He will be greatly missed. We love you Daddy, aka, Paw Paw.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 12:00 noon (visitation 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon) at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment with Full Military Honorary Honors at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
