Floyd McFarland, 92, of Farmington, passed away October 5, 2024, at Marymount Skilled Nursing Manor in Eureka. He was born January 3, 1932, in Loughboro, to the late Clarence Orville and Bessie Irene (Powell) McFarland. Floyd was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington. He was employed with Chrysler until changing jobs to Ameren, where he retired as a Building Supervisor. Floyd dabbled in art, but his passion was model trains.
He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 71 years, Charmaine (Cook) McFarland; daughter, Laura Ann Gram; granddaughter, in infancy and one brother, Teddy Charles McFarland.
Floyd is survived by three children, John McFarland and wife Cindy, Patrick McFarland and wife Sharon, and Maria Murdock; six grandchildren, Megan, Evan, Ken, Rebecca, Sean and Lisa; six great-grandchildren, Makayla, Shae, Hutson, Jax, Neko and Ava; several nieces and nephew also survive.
Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son -Taylor Chapel in Farmington, Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the graveside service time of 12:00 PM at New Calvary Cemetery in Farmington.
