Floyd "Webby" Wilburn White Jr., 63, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026, at his residence. He was born April 7, 1962, in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Floyd and Thelma Lois (Collins) White Sr.

Floyd was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He grew up in Williamsville, where he attended school and formed many lifelong friendships. On June 22, 1984, he married the love of his life, Carol Walker, and together they were blessed with four children and over four decades of shared love and memories.

A hardworking man, Floyd spent thirty-five years as a roofer and also worked for Brown Shoe, Nordyne, and Paramount for Headwear. Known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit, Floyd was an avid handyman who truly enjoyed helping others. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Floyd loved the outdoors, and his greatest passion was hunting-especially deer, turkey, rabbit, and squirrel. He also enjoyed baking cookies, drawing, crafting, and spending time creating with his hands. Huddle House was his favorite go-to spot, where he enjoyed good food and good company.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson: Floyd Bentley White; brother: Dennis White; sisters: Patty White, Betty Jo White, Thelma Yandell, and Candance Henderson.

Floyd is survived by his devoted wife of forty-one years; children: Stephen White and wife April of Fisk, Charles White and wife Nicole of Topeka, Kansas, James White of St. Louis, Tera George of Oklahoma; grandchildren: Justin White, Makayla White, Farrah White, Audrey White, Candance White, Payton White, Hailey White, Aiden Whoe, Jacob White, Amber White, Alexis Smith, Logan White, Raidan May, Sean Holts, and Clifford Joe Rogers Jr.; great-grandchildren: Sophia, Gus, Ash, and Serenity White; brother: Bryan White; sister: Brenda Mell and husband Robert of Piedmont; good friends: George Strange and Mark Pracht, and longtime hunting buddy: Jessie Dyer.

Floyd was a very strong man with a large will to live life to the fullest. His kindness, generosity, and love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 23, 2026, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Williamsville Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm, also at the Williamsville Chapel. Burial will be in Holliday Cemetery, Williamsville. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
