Floyd Everett Yarnell, 84, of Lowell, Ohio, died on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. He was born on February 27, 1941 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Francis Russell and Cora Wilma Bell Yarnell. He attended school in Lowell for 10 years and the last 2 years at Fort Frye High School in Beverly. He was a carpenter and had worked for J A Schwendeman and Sons in Lowell for 40 years. He was a Methodist by faith and a member of the Lower Muskingum Historical Society in Beverly. He loved genealogy and was a cemetery historian, mapping many cemeteries in the area for many years and his hobbies were going to sporting events and watching westerns. Everett is survived by two brothers, Donald Lee Yarnell of Lowell and Charles Dewey Yarnell of Knoxville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Francis Yarnell and two half- sisters, Donna and Mona.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2005 at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly with Pastor Lloyd Westbrook officiating. Friends may call 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm before the service. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the LA Volunteer Fire Department in Lowell.
