Mrs. Fondaria Paschal Thomas was born on June 23, 1942, to the parents of Robert Ford Paschal and Mary Jo Paschal in Tallassee, Alabama. She received her formal education in the Elmore County School System in Wetumpka, Alabama. She furthered her education at Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama.

Mrs. Fondaria Paschal Thomas accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was united with Flat Rock Baptist Church in Tallassee, Alabama.

Ms. Fondaria Paschal was united in holy matrimony with Edward Douglas Thomas on July 17, 1976, in Tallassee, Alabama.

Fondaria was employed by the Henry County Schools Board of Education as an Elementary School Teacher for 30 years in Hampton, Georgia.

In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time with her children and her family, collegiate football and basketball, Little League Baseball, NBA, NFL, WNBA, Hallmark Movie Channel, daytime shows, and listening to gospel music.

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, Mrs. Fondaria Paschal Thomas' name was called, and she answered and was set free from all sickness and pain. Rest now in peace and comfort, your journey has ended, battle fought, and victory won. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Ford Paschal and Mary Jo Paschal, and her sister, Debra Paschal Brown.

Mrs. Fondaria Paschal Thomas leaves a legacy of beautiful memory to be cherish in the heart of her son, Roderick (Angela) Johnson, her daughter, Tonja (Nathan) Johnson-Zeigler, sisters, Carol Paschal, and Mary Lee Allen, grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Makayla Zeigler, Courtney Wyche, and Rodnecus Wyche, nieces, Yvette (Bryant) Spencer, CaToiya Kimble, and Sheneka (Jason) Dunham, nephews, Rickey Brown, II, and Rico Kimble; bonus children, The Robert Stinson, Sr., family, (Rhonda, Robin, Bob), and Deda Allen, beloved cousins, Patricia Birmingham. Willie (Shirley) Davidson, Lee Bickley, Sr., and Mary F. Davis; Beloved friends, Hassie Pines, Idahlia Johnson, Vonnie Rivers, and Clarence Varner. She also leaves great nieces, great nephews, a host of cousins, extended family members, friends and students who will miss her dearly.
