State College, Pennsylvania - Forcithea Ellen Crosier, a cherished mother, devoted friend, and esteemed community matriarch, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026, at the age of 57, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on January 25, 1969, Ms. Crosier was the daughter of Lee Crosier and the late Barbara Crosier. She spent her formative years in New Orleans, graduating from St. Mary's Academy in 1986 and subsequently earning a degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi.

In 1988, Ms. Crosier enlisted in the Army, where she trained as an air traffic controller, serving with distinction for eight years before transitioning to civilian life. She then embarked upon a career in finance, quickly ascending to the position of Assistant Operations Manager at UBS PaineWebber Financial Services, a role she held for several years. Ms. Crosier retired from military service in 2003.

In her later years, Ms. Crosier relocated to State College, Pennsylvania, where she became an active and valued member of the community. Although known for her travels, the picturesque local geography, the diverse culinary offerings, and the welcoming spirit of the State College community confirmed her decision to establish her permanent residence there. She and her dog, Slim, were frequently observed walking in favored local parks such as Tudek and Bernel Parks. Those closest to her admired her for her sharp wit, radiant disposition, and creativity.

She is survived by her devoted son, Christopher Crosier.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Wetzler Funeral Service, located at 206 N Spring St, Bellefonte, PA. Friends will be received for a visitation at the funeral service location for three hours prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
