Forrest Barton

EPSOM – Forrest C. Barton, 93, of Epsom, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, following a period of declining health.

Born on December 19, 1932 in Concord, Forrest was the son of the late Everett W. and Susan M. (Eagles) Barton. He was raised and educated in the local school and later proudly served his country with the United States Army in the Korean War . He worked for many years in retail as a hardware store manager.

Forrest (also known as Mickey to his friends)enjoyed watching Western movies especially ones featuring John Wayne. He loved to sing and listen to his music . He liked to go for rides and check out the beautiful scenery of New Hampshire whenever time allowed.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn A. (Blanchard) Barton, a daughter, Christine S. Barton, brothers, Everett Barton, Jr. and George Barton, sisters, June Barton, Virginia Carberry and stepdaughter Gina

He is survived by his children, Stephen F. Barton, Matthew C. Barton, Linda Alaimo, Karen S. Barton Brown, stepdaughters Holly, Phyllis and her husband Glen; son-in-law, Jim Alaimo, grandchildren: Emily Barton, Justin Fariel, Brittany Owens and her husband Donnie, Ian Fariel and his wife Iman, great grandchildren, Carter Owens and Avery Fariel, nephew, Wayne Blanchard, nieces, Debbie Blanchard, Pat, Debbie Barton and other extended family members and his dear friend whom he considered a brother, David Newton who was always there for Mickey.
