I was deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Forrest´s passing. I got to know Forrest while he was a student at Morehouse and I was at Emory. He was always a pleasure to be around, making jokes and sharing music (for example, Forrest introduced me to Steely Dan´s "Aja" album). Praying that the peace of Christ offers comfort to the entire Hackney family during this difficult time.

Forrest was my neighbor in Stamford CT. We both worked there and spent time enjoying corporate life and the NYC area.
Recently we got together for lunch in ATL. Shared allot of laughs at the Porshe test track.
Great friend and person. RIP. Will be missed!!

My deepest condolences to the Hackney family. Forrest was a good Alpha Brother and friend, gone too soon. I was blessed to share fond memories and a few laughs with Forrest last Fall. May you find comfort and strength in the wonderful memories you have of Forrest.
