Schroeder, Forrest R. S.
Appleton

Age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 6, 2007. He was born on June 30, 1986 in Green Bay, the son of D.J. and Wen Zyo Shih Schroeder. He was a member of the 2004 graduating class of Appleton North High School and currently attended Fox Valley Technical College for Electrical Engineering. Forrest was a Boy Scout who excelled in creating Winter Shelters and first aid, he earned his Eagle Scout merit in 2003 by building a canoe dock and observation deck at Buboltz Nature Preserve. Forrest was a lover of music, especially Symphonic Metal. He loved Salmon, Tuna, and Unagi sushi and sashimi, Culver's Butter Burgers, and Indian Cuisine which required a nap afterwards. He enjoyed photography, scuba diving, and sailing, and loved the ocean so much he dreamed of moving to the West Coast after college. He had an affinity for all animals, and they loved him in return. Forrest loved spending time with his friends, he loved paintballing, role-playing computer games, he was great with computers, and his Facebook page was constantly visited by his many friends. Most nights, you could find Forrest as he frequented George Webb's.

He will be sadly missed by his parents, D.J. and Wen; his brother, Felix; his grandmother 'Ama', Jun Zyo, Denver, CO; aunts and uncles: Clarke Linda Schroeder, McFarland, WI, Barbara Robert Blau, Ottumwa, IA, Mona special friend Jerry Salaty Schroeder-Beers, Milwaukee, Shirley Tzou, Denver, CO, Ryan Sara Shih, Denver, CO, Pei Christian Evans, Berkeley, CA; cousins: Chea Tzou, Alvin Chang, Lois and Lester Shih, Emily and Lydia Schroeder, Jason and Jacob Blau, Rob, Jamie, and Tyler Beers; and closest friends: Ashish, Tom, Steve, Schnick, Andrew, Brittany, Keitha, Kate, Marte, Tim, Ryan, Nick, John, Cody, Alex, and many others too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eleanor and Bently Schroeder, and Thomas Zyo.
