Frances Anne Boyette passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2024, in her home surrounded by friends and family. She was born February 6th, 1955, in Detroit Michigan to Jerome and Margaret Oddo.
On February 22, 1997, she married the love of her life Bobby Boyette, sharing over 27 years in marriage.
Fran, as everyone knew her, loved spreading joy. She was known for her lavish participation in all holidays, especially Halloween. Her costumes and decorations encouraged everyone to have tremendous fun. Her caring nature was evident with stories about how she protected and cared for her younger siblings, her work as a childcare provider and in the strong values she instilled in her daughters. Fran lived a full life, working as an administrator for a time share company while traveling and having adventures with her husband and her daughter, Renae. She was gregarious, never meeting a stranger. She enriched people's lives with her great spirit and her signature pasta salad and rum balls. She had an undeniable faith in God and like Jesus, was quick to forgive. If you were to ask her today what two daily things she cherished most with her husband, we believe it would first be their favorite daily prayer "In Jesus Name: Thank you Lord - Thank you Lord - Thank you Lord -Amen" and secondly the Kiss (hershey) he so lovingly placed on her bed pillow after making the bed – he made sure she never went to sleep without a kiss.
Fran is survived by her husband, Bobby Boyette, her daughters Shawn Kerley and Renae Martinez, a brother Steven Oddo, four sisters, Kathie Carpenti, Barbara Lavigne, Josephine Pierfelice, and Phyllis Baker, as well as 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 14 nieces and nephews and 3 aunts. After a successful battle with cancer but succumbing to the effects of chemotherapy three years later, this beautiful butterfly was called home to heaven to reunite with her grandparents, parents, a nephew and several aunts and uncles.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at St. Michael Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, 15th at the funeral home.

We met Fran right after we bought our house across the street from her. She welcomed us to the neighborhood. We hit it off right away. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
