Frances "Fran" E. Naylor, 100, born on February 10, 1925, in Flushing, New York, to the late Daniel and Emily Eustace, passed peacefully at home on September 18, 2025, surrounded by her family. Fran was a graduate of Newtown High School, who would go on to work as the first secretary for Jim Host before becoming the administrative assistant for I.B.M. Fran volunteered her time with the St. Joe East Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, and Christ the King Church, which led to her being bestowed the title of Kentucky Colonel. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Wendy and Nancy Naylor; her nephew Jeff (Candy) Mullins; her best friend Norma (David) Schadwick; two great nieces; a great nephew; and many beloved cousins, including the Ronnie Kukla Family. Along with her parents, Fran is preceded in the death by her loving husband John Naylor; her son Stephen Naylor; her niece Barbara Mullins; and her sister and infant brother. A visitation will be held from 10-12pm Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main Street, with a graveside service being held at 12:30pm at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lexington Humane Society, because of her unquestioned love for her boxers.
