Frances M. Scharlott died June 30, 2025, after complications from a fall. She was born February 23, 1937, the third of four daughters to Willis and Lessie Belle Masters in Titus County, Texas. She is the last of her family to pass. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Robert C. Tyler (1969) and William L. Scharlott (2014) and her daughter, Peggy Thomas (2024). Fran was very proud of her time serving her country in the US Army. She retired from The Ohio State University and was owner of MAFCO with her husband, Bill. She is survived by children and stepchildren, Matt Scharlott, Brad Scharlott (Sally Barringer), Vanessa Richards (Paul), Lee Ann Breeze, Lisa Mann (Jeff), Agnes Kepler and son in law, Dennis Thomas. Fran is also survived by ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Visitation Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 5-8pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10am at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 434 Norton Rd., Columbus, OH 43228.
