Francelle Louise Wiede Helmcamp Czichos was born on September 16, 1943, to Erwin Otto Wiede and Katherine Lillian Perrin Wiede. On May 23, 2025, she peacefully went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Deloris MacKenzie.
Francelle is survived by her devoted husband, Alton Czichos, and her beloved sons, Todd, Trenton, and T.J. Helmcamp, along with their wives and cherished grandchildren and great-gradchildren.
A graduate of Highlands High School in San Antonio, Texas, Francelle dedicated many years to her career, working for a physician who trained her in nursing skills and later for an insurance company. Known for her joyful spirit and fun-loving personality, Francelle brought light to every room she entered.
Her life was transformed when she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. From that moment on, she served Him wholeheartedly. Francelle ministered through music, singing in churches, nursing homes, and at community events. Her passion for music was only surpassed by the deep love she held for her family—especially her children and grandchildren.
Francelle also had a special place in her heart for animals and was known far and wide for her generous, giving nature. To know her was to be blessed by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith. There will never be another like her.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Francelle's life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at Marrs Jones Funeral Home in Smithville, Texas. The visitation will begin at 9:00am and the service will begin at 10:00am.
Francelle will be laid to rest at a later date.
